Hi, I’m Alex Dodman 👋  

After years of travelling up and down the UK, exploring and being ripped off more times than I can remember, I finally snapped. Theres only so many times you can walk through a rip off gift shop before you decide its time to do something about it.

Pounds to Pleasure was born out of that pain. Its a place where normal people like you and me can finally win a round against overpriced trips, sneaky hidden fees and "special offers" that are anything but special.

The mission’s simple: tell the truth. Not the polished, influencer-friendly version - the real version.

We aim to help families spend their money wisely and enjoy their time together without falling for the usual marketing jargon. Because if you’re going to spend your weekend chasing “family fun”, you might as well know if it’s worth it or just another round of overpriced ice creams and tears.
