What Alex has to say...

Daisy Mays Farm is exactly what it sounds like: a proper family-run farm where the animals actually live (not just sit in pens), you can meet them up close, feed them properly, and leave smelling vaguely of hay.

Expect playful goats, cuddly alpacas, cheeky pigs, ponies, sheep and loads of fun animal encounters. There are barns to explore, tractor rides so you don’t walk in awkward circles, outdoor play areas for kids to burn off that extra energy, and a café that knows when you need coffee and cake.

It’s a small-enough space that nobody gets lost, but big enough that the kids will happily outlast you.

FAQs

What actually is Daisy Mays Farm?

A lovely little real farm where you can meet, feed and interact with animals without the “big zoo overwhelm”.

Is it good for little kids?

Yes - toddlers through early teens love the animals and play areas. Watching a goat chase a toddler is family entertainment you can’t pay for.

Do animals get fed?

Yes - there are designated feeding times and safe feeding experiences (with approved food). Don’t just hand them your lunch.

Do I have to book?

Yes, animal experiences and tractor rides generally need pre-booking so they’re not sold out when you arrive.

Is it outdoors?

Mostly. It’s farm-style terrain, so sturdy shoes and weather sense are recommended.
