This one’s different, in a good way.
Hobbledown in Epsom isn’t just a farm park and it’s not just an adventure playground. It’s this slightly quirky, fantasy-style world where kids can climb, explore, see animals, and disappear into tunnels and wooden towers for hours.
The adventure playground is the standout. Proper climbing structures. High walkways. Slides. The kind of set-up where kids feel like they’re on a medieval mission. It’s big enough that they don’t get bored after 20 minutes.
There are animals too - meerkats, goats, smaller farm animals, so it mixes physical play with a bit of wildlife interest. It’s not a massive zoo, but it adds variety.
It’s also fairly weather-proof compared to some places because there’s indoor play as well. So if the British weather does its thing, you’re not completely stuck.
Price-wise, it’s not cheap. It sits in that mid-to-upper range for family attractions. But you do get a proper half-day (or longer) out of it, and it feels more unique than your average farm park.
If your kids love climbing, exploring and a bit of imaginative play, this one’s a strong yes.
