What Alex has to say...

Knockhatch is one of those places where you think you’re just going to a small adventure park… and then realise there’s way more going on than expected.

Animals? Yep.
Small theme park rides? Yep.
Indoor play? Also yep.

It’s kind of a mash-up of farm park, mini theme park and soft play centre all rolled into one.

The rides aren’t Thorpe Park level, obviously - but for younger kids they’re perfect. There’s enough thrill to feel exciting without terrifying them. The Wave Swinger and the Dino Drop always seem to be big hits.

The animals are a nice addition rather than the main event. It’s not a zoo, but it gives a bit of variety between rides and play zones.

What I like about Knockhatch is the balance. If it rains, you’ve got indoor options. If it’s sunny, there’s loads outdoors. It’s pretty good at covering all bases.

Price-wise, it’s mid-range. Not cheap, but you can comfortably spend most of the day there and feel like you’ve had decent value.

It’s not luxury. It’s not ultra-modern. But it’s a strong all-rounder.
