Legoland’s Halloween “Brick or Treat” is the time of year when the park confidently declares that sticking a plastic pumpkin on every surface counts as “spooky.” The rides remain the same, but now a person dressed as a LEGO witch waves at you while you queue for forty minutes. There are themed shows in which costumed performers try to make vampire jokes land, and parents laugh, not because they’re funny, but because they'll cry at the money they've wasted if not.
