So I wandered into the LEGO Store in Leicester Square. It’s basically a temple to little plastic bricks where grown-ups pay £14.99 for a thing labelled ‘collectible’ and no one bats an eye. The place is packed with mini figures, giant brick-covered statues, and a wall of yellow heads so vast it could be its own tourist attraction. Bonus: if you lose yourself amid the DUPLO towers, at least you’re still in the land of bricks. All in all its fun, ridiculous, and exactly the kind of place where your inner five-year-old gets a smug swerve.
