What Alex has to say...

This is one of those simple ideas that works really well for younger kids.

Let’s Pretend is a travelling children’s theatre show where classic fairy tales are brought to life on stage. Think Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White - all done in a very colourful, energetic way that’s designed to keep little ones engaged.

The shows are interactive too. Kids shout things out, characters talk to the audience, and there’s usually a lot of singing and dancing involved.

It’s not West End theatre. It’s smaller venues, simpler sets, and very much aimed at younger audiences.

But that’s exactly why it works.

The shows are short enough that kids don’t get restless, the stories are familiar, and the actors do a great job keeping the energy high.

For parents, it’s an easy win. Something a bit different from soft play or playgrounds, and it feels like a “proper outing.”

If your child loves fairy tales and dressing up, they’ll probably love this.
