Madame Tussauds is essentially a very expensive, extremely committed science project where artists spend months creating wax celebrities so tourists can spend moments pretending they’re friends with them; you walk in, immediately lock eyes with a disturbingly lifelike wax figure of someone you’ve only seen on TV, take 47 photos to convince social media you met them, then move on to the next frozen star who definitely isn’t judging you because they are, again, made of wax; by the time you reach the exit, you’ve posed with royalty, pop stars, and historical figures who all share two things in common—they’re famous, and they couldn’t stop you from awkwardly putting your arm around them even if they wanted to, which is precisely why the place is still wildly popular.

I'm going round the UK and US reviewing some of the top places to visit. Along the way, I'm picking you up some discount codes too.
