What Alex has to say...

Mini Meadows Farm is one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood - the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by animals that are cute enough to make fully grown adults question their life choices. Goats trotting up for snacks, fluffy rabbits living their best lives, alpacas giving you that “I’m judging you but also admire you” look… it’s chaos, but the adorable kind.

It’s built for proper hands-on fun. You can feed the animals, wander huge open paddocks, dip in and out of the indoor barns, and let the kids disappear into play areas while you casually pretend you’re “just supervising” (you’re not fooling anyone - you’re absolutely feeding a goat like it’s your new best friend).

There’s a warm, countryside feel to the whole place. It doesn’t try to be fancy - it’s wholesome, relaxed, and full of simple joys. Perfect for younger kids who love getting stuck in, but honestly just as fun for adults who need a break from screen time and want a day that feels… well, real.

FAQs

Can you feed the animals?

Yes, and the animals absolutely know it. Expect goats, sheep and alpacas making a beeline for you the second they hear a feed bag rustle.

Is it good for really young kids?

Very. It’s gentle, safe, calm, and full of animals that little ones can meet up close without it feeling overwhelming.

What are the standout animals?

The goats steal the show, the pigs are hilarious, and the alpacas behave like farm-park royalty. There are also rabbits, guinea pigs, and plenty of classic farm favourites.

Is there anything indoors if the weather goes bad?

Yes, indoor barns and animal areas mean you can still meet, cuddle and feed the animals even on a very British weather day.

Is it just animals, or are there things for kids to play on?

There are play areas where kids can climb, slide and burn off energy between animal meet-and-greets. It turns into a perfect “mix of fun” day out.
